Registration for Scripture Classes in Public Schools 2024

As a Catholic Parish Community, St Aloysius Cronulla has the pleasure and honour of providing volunteer teachers (Catechists) to provide Catholic Scripture (Special Religious Education) at several primary and secondary public schools in our local area, including: Cronulla Public, South Cronulla Public, Burraneer Bay Public, Bundeena Public, Kurnell Public, Woolooware Public, Woolooware High, Cronulla High.

So that we can provide the best support for the faith development of your child, we ask that you register with the Parish. This is a simple and easy process and can be done via completing a short 2 minute online form.

Information about Enrolment for Sacraments in 2024 for children of school-ages

All Sacramental Preparation programs for in the Cronulla Parish are parish-based, which means the program brings together students from all school backgrounds (public, Catholic, independent and home-schooled).

Baptism is offered for children at any age, and depending on the age of the child, the program is tailored to their abilities and development. For more information – see the link BAPTISMS under Sacraments.

Confirmation is offered for children in Year 6 and above (who have already made Reconciliation and Holy Communion), and occurs during Term 2. There is a Parent Formation Meeting on Thursday 29 February 2024 at 7pm in the Parish Hall, with enrolment occurring online in Term 1 (between 1 and 14 March), with the Enrolment Mass on 17 March at 6pm (where all candidates are required to attend). First Reconciliation is offered for children in Year 3 and above, and occurs during term 4. There is a Parent Formation Meeting on Thursday 22 August at 7pm in the Parish Hall, with enrolment occurring in term 3 between 23 August and 2 September. For more information see the link RECONCILIATION under sacraments above. ENROL HERE for RECONCILIATION 2024 between 23 August and 2 September, and then attend the Enrolment Masses on Saturday 7 September at 5pm and Sunday 8 September at 8am and 6pm.

First Holy Communion is offered for children in Year 4 and above, and occurs during term 3. There is a Parent Formation Meeting on Tuesday 28 May at 7pm in the Parish Hall, with enrolment occurring in term 2 between 31 May and 14 June by CLICKING HERE. Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney Safeguarding Online Training

The Safeguarding & Ministerial Integrity Office is pleased to announce Safeguarding Induction Training is now available online for workers and volunteers of the Parish Community and Youth Ministry workers and volunteers.

In order to access the online Safeguarding Induction Training, you will need to provide the Safeguarding Office with a few details to allow us to set up and online account for you. Within 48 hours of completing this online form you will receive an email with your username, password and a link that will take you directly to the training.
